Volunteer with the Edison Alliance
Join the Edison Alliance, a group of parents and teachers who work together to actively foster a spirit of cooperation and a sense of support, pride and enthusiasm, to nurture a sense of community within our school.
Alliance members:
- Are a resource for our school’s administration, faculty and staff
- More effectively contribute their time and talents as volunteers
- Help build school spirit and a sense of school community
- Foster parent-to-parent communication and support
- Help promote and market the school.

Request Support & Essentials
If you are in need of any essential items for you or your student, please ask us. We are in partnership with you to serve your student and family and we are here to help. Fill out the essentials form and let us know what you need. Essential items can include:
- school supplies
- back pack
- clothing
- toiletries
- food
Snack Bags
Healthy and delicious snack bags can go home with all Thomas Edison students, or they can be picked up between 8:15 a.m. and 12 p.m. Please fill out the snacks request form to receive them.
Diapers
Families who need diapers may fill out a form to request diapers from the Nashville Diaper Connection.
English Learners
Families of English learners can get more information from the district website.
